Nowadays most of my meetings start on time and most everyone makes it because, well, we're all working from home. But as I was dialing in to another zoom meeting I thought back to my office days and how the vibe and energy of my old department meetings would be thrown off if any of the team members were missing or held up in another meeting.
This got me thinking about how no matter the title or role, everyone plays an important part.
Everybody's contribution, however different, is felt and appreciated and part of the whole. Everybody's contribution is important.
Leadership is never about the title.
Leadership is about welcoming and encouraging the different ways people around us can contribute and about reminding them of how powerful they are.
