Bad Boss Breakthrough

From survival mode to in control

A live 4-week experience for professionals who feel trapped, exhausted, or like they’re losing their edge because of a difficult boss or workplace dynamic.

Over the past few weeks, have you noticed yourself...

  • Replaying conversations in your head after work?

  • Thinking about work before you even get out of bed?

  • Feeling anxious before certain meetings or interactions?

  • Questioning yourself more than you used to?

  • Thinking about quitting, but not feeling ready or able to leave?

  • Feeling less like yourself than you used to?

  • Feeling like work has started taking up too much space in your life?

If this is true for you, you’re not weak, overly sensitive, or bad at your job. You may simply have been operating in survival mode longer than you realized.

At some point, a difficult work situation becomes too much to keep hoping away.

You may not know how much longer you can keep tolerating things as they are. You wonder whether you should leave, even without another job lined up. You try to "calculate" how much more stress, uncertainty, or financial risk you can afford.

Many capable, experienced professionals spend months, or even years, adapting to a difficult boss or workplace dynamic without realizing how much it has already changed them.

In the process of trying to cope, they become more cautious, more guarded, more exhausted, and less trusting of themselves.

Work stops feeling like something they do and starts feeling like something they survive.

The good news is that survival mode is not a fixed personality trait.

And it does not have to become your future.

Bad Boss Breakthrough

A focused 4-week experience to help you stop feeling trapped, regain control, and choose your next move with more clarity and confidence.

I created Bad Boss Breakthrough because I’ve seen too many capable professionals lose confidence, clarity, and peace of mind while trying to survive a difficult boss or workplace dynamic.

Four focused sessions that could save you months of spinning, second-guessing, and waiting for things to get better on their own.

Over four live, virtual 90-minute Saturday group sessions, you’ll learn how to:

  • Identify where this situation is costing you the most so you know exactly where to start

  • Stop letting a difficult boss or workplace dynamic control your focus, confidence, and peace of mind

  • Stay intentional and poised when someone criticizes, interrupts, dismisses, or pushes your buttons

  • Evaluate your options and choose your next strategic move with more confidence and control

  • Walk back into work with practical tools you can use immediately, not just insight you have to figure out on your own

You’ll leave clearer, more confident, and equipped with a practical framework for moving forward without feeling trapped by your current situation.

Here is what happens during those 4 weeks:

Week 1: Know exactly where to start

Use the Effectiveness Gap Map to see where survival mode has been costing you the most and choose one purposeful action for the very next workday.

See what you'll work on

In Week 1, you’ll take a quick inventory of how your current work situation has been affecting your confidence, energy, effectiveness, satisfaction, and life outside of work.

Then we’ll use our proprietary Effectiveness Gap Map to identify where survival mode has created the biggest gap between how you normally want to show up and how you’ve actually been functioning lately.

You won’t leave with vague awareness or another list of problems. You’ll walk away knowing your immediate next action so you can enter the next workday with more clarity, purpose, and control.

Week 2: Stop letting them control your day

Learn how to stay steady around difficult people so one comment, mood, email, or interaction doesn’t ruin your focus, confidence, or peace for the rest of the day.

See what you'll work on

In Week 2, you’ll learn how to stop giving difficult people so much power over your emotional state. Instead of spending the day replaying what they said, bracing for what they might do next, or trying to convince yourself not to care, you’ll learn how to stay grounded without lowering your standards or pretending their behavior is okay.

You’ll leave with a practical way to protect your peace of mind, regain your focus faster, and stop letting someone else’s bad behavior decide how you feel and show up.

They may still act the same, but they don’t get to decide how the rest of your day goes.

Week 3: Respond on purpose, not on reflex

Stay intentional when difficult people push your buttons, so you can respond with poise and purpose instead of reacting in ways you later regret.

See what you'll work on

In Week 3, you'll learn how to stay intentional in the exact moments that usually pull you into an emotional reaction - even when someone pushes your buttons on purpose.

You won’t leave trying to be perfectly calm or unaffected. You’ll leave with a practical way to respond with more steadiness, poise, and control when someone interrupts, criticizes, dismisses, or pressures you.

The goal is simple: they may know how to push your buttons, but they don’t get to choose your response.

Week 4: Choose your next strategic move

Decide what comes next from clarity and purpose instead of pressure, fear, frustration, or exhaustion.

See what you'll work on

In Week 4, you’ll bring everything together so you can think clearly about what comes next.

Whether you need to stay, leave, speak up, set a boundary, change your approach, or make a bigger career decision, you’ll learn how to stop deciding from survival mode and start choosing from strategy, purpose, and self-trust.

You won’t leave with someone else telling you what to do. You’ll leave with your options evaluated, your next move chosen, and a clearer sense of control over what happens next.

You don’t have to keep settling for a situation that drains your energy, confidence, and ability to do your best work.

And you don’t have to choose between staying miserable and quitting without a plan.

Hoping things will magically get better is not a winning strategy. Sometimes the first step is getting out of survival mode long enough to see your options clearly again.
